Lam Tze Chung
(Lam Chi Chung)
Actor
Add the name Lam Tze Chung to the list of many performers who were discovered by
HK movie icon Stephen Chow. Tze Chung is chubby, cute, and funny- the Chiang Kam
of the new millenium.
Back in 1996, Lam played a triad buddy of Julian Cheung Chi Lam in To Be No. 1.
Yet it wasn't until 2001 that Lam, working as a script assistant, was cast as the high flying
soccer player "Weight Vest" in the Asian blockbuster Shaolin Soccer starring Stephen Chow.
After subsequent support roles in the comedies Dance of a Dream and Cat and Mouse (both
starring Andy Lau), Lam co-starred in Wong Jing's Love is a Many Stupid Thing.
In the film, Shawn Yu, Chapman To Man Chat and Lam Tze Chung play a trio of skirt
chasers.
