Comic actor and television personality Lo Hoi Pang is best known as one of the hosts
of Hong Kong's longest running live variety show, Enjoy Yourself Tonight.
He joined TVB in the early 1970's and has continued acting and hosting duties for the
network ever since. In 1995 he also joined CETV (China Entertainment Television) as a
master of ceremonies of the prime time infotainment / variety show Happy Times,
reteaming him with his Enjoy Yourself Tonight co-host Lydia Shum.
Lo Hoi Pang's talent for impersonations is well utilized in his frequent appearances on
various televised events; in films he often plays the part of a hot-tempered general or
some similar figure of authority. Since 1998, Lo has played several serious roles
in Johnnie To's Milkyway Image action / crime dramas- The Longest Nite, PTU
and Throw Down.
