(Cheung Wai Kin, Zhang Wei Jian)

                       Actor, Singer

                                                                              Born: February 8, 1965

Dicky Cheung began his career in the early 1980's as a singer, and after many ups

and downs, won success as a "funny" actor, recording artist, TV host and film star.

Perhaps no other role has gained Dicky greater recognition than the part of the

mischievious Monkey King in the television series of the legendary Chinese fable

Journey To the West. Cheung's signature acting style- rapidly delivered, smart and

wacky dialogue, has been seen in comedies like Chez N' Ham (with Eric Tsang),

The Prince of Portland Street (with Simon Yam), and the Wong Jing mishmoshes

Future Cops, Holy Weapon and Last Hero in China

Dicky Cheung's boyish tussled bangs hairstyle has been replaced with a bald head,

required for his role in the Taiwanese TV series Duke of Mount Deer 2000. These

days Chinese audiences see Dicky regularly on television, but he has not made a film

                                                                                         since 1994.
