Allen Ting Chi Chun's film debut was in Ann Hui's 1995 drama Summer Snow, in which
he played the son of Josephine Siao's character. He was nominated for a Best New Performer
award, which jump-started his film and TV career. He later co-starred in Herman Yau's
Troublesome Night series and played triad characters in several films. In 2000, he co-starred
with Simon Yam Tat-Wah in Man Wanted 3, and sang the movie's theme song.
Allen also released an mp3 of "free@love", a song which he co-wrote and co-produced about
finding love on the internet.
